More than 10 years ago two Danish engineers saw that one of the largest challenges with the emerging LED technology is to remove the heat, since normally LEDs are soldered to a print-board with a heat sink attached.
They then discovered that if the LEDs could be directly attached to a heat conductor, it would improve the heat dismissing greatly and hence double the lifetime of the diodes, so bo based upon also an aluminum sandwich constructed composite plate, the first patents were granted on this new LED innovation.
A few years later the founders of LEDPROOF were introduced to the patent. Within a short time, the practical use of the patent was improved and the first LED lighting products produced.
These LEDPROOF products very quickly gained market recognition and further developments, experience and new patents have lead to the market leading LEDPROOF technology we know today.
By 2015 LEDPROOF introduced the 2nd generation diode adapter, fully integrated in the aluminum plate.
